Maintenance

Child maintenance is a central part to any break-up where children are involved. The level of maintenance payment can be reached by agreement or using Child Support Agency calculations.

Once child maintenance has been established by agreement or CMS calculation the next step to consider is to protect this payment with an insurance policy. Unfortunately this important step is commonly missed unless a good financial adviser is involved. If the party responsible for paying the maintenance payments (the payer) dies whilst the children are still dependant, the maintenance payments would cease and the payee could face financial difficulties trying to support their children. We can easily help in this instance.
